Dr. Francemise Kingsberry

(Founder/Executive Director)

Dr. Francemise Kingsberry is a graduate of the Educational Administration and Supervision Program at North Carolina State University with a Doctor of Education. She currently holds a North Carolina Superintendent's License. She also received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH) and later, earned a Master's of School Administration degree from UNC-CH in 2009. She is an author, speaker, coach and has served as an elementary and middle school teacher and assistant principal. Dr. Kingsberry is also the mother of Amira and Kelyn Kingsberry. She has served as their caretaker and knows firsthand, the mental, physical, and financial impact that raising and providing for medically fragile children can have on families. She seeks to bring respite to other families who have and are facing such challenges. She resides in Wake Forest, NC with her husband Hassan and other two children.

Jessica Holmes

(Secretary)

Jessica Holmes has lived in North Carolina her entire life. She attended The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for undergraduate and then matriculated to East Carolina University for a masters degree in physical therapy. Later, she returned to Chapel Hill for a Transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Jessica has served as a pediatric physical therapist for 18 years. She had the privilege of working with Kelyn for over two years. Jessica resides in Raleigh with her husband and her two boys. They also have two dogs and enjoy trips to the beach and the lake as well as taking the dogs on walks.


 
 

Katie Sutton

(Treasurer)

Katie Sutton works in compliance at GSK and has held positions in various internal audit departments in pharmaceutical, financial service, and retail organizations over the past 23 years. She is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, and Certified Information Systems Auditor. She is active in her church and children’s schools. She didn’t know how much her life would be blessed by a budding friendship with the Kingsberry family when they agreed to come over for dinner one night. This may not have been possible without access to necessary equipment such as a safe, well-fitting car seat and wheelchair for Kelyn Kingsberry. Katie hopes this charity will enrich the lives of children and families and and that it will help them connect and thrive in their communities, enriching the lives of others.

 
 

Dr. Erin Regan

Erin Regan was born and raised in California, but has lived in North Carolina for the last 17 years. She trained at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and Duke University Medical Center in general pediatrics and currently works in a pediatric urgent care setting. She lives with her husband and two daughters in Raleigh, where she enjoys baking desserts to share with friends and neighbors. As Kelyn’s pediatrician, Dr. Regan was honored to witness the love and devotion of her family to her care, and hopes to be of service as they continue to share this love in her memory.

 

Hassan Kingsberry, Esq.

(Secretary)

Hassan Kingsberry, Esq. grew up in Franklin, Vance and Warren Counties. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Morehead Scholar and afterward, he attended North Carolina Central University School of Law. He is licensed to practice in Georgia and North Carolina and currently serves as the Town Attorney for Wake Forest. He earned his Masters of School Administration from UNC Chapel Hill and has worked as an educator in Warren, Franklin, and Halifax County Schools. Kingsberry also obtained a Master's in Divinity from Regent University and has pastored for the past 15 years. He is married to his college sweetheart, Dr. Francemise Kingsberry and they have two children—Hassan II and Keren. He is also the father of Amira and Kelyn Kingsberry.


Crystal Jones

Crystal Jones grew up in Robeson County and now lives in Wake Forest with her husband and four children . She attended UNC-P for her undergraduate degree in Business and went on to pursue her MBA at Fayetteville State University. She now works in Contract Management at Parexel and has held positions in various financial departments in pharmaceutical, financial service, and telecom organizations. She is active in her children’s schools and other extracurricular activities. She met the Kingsberry's at their children's sporting activities and hit it off immediately. They now feel more like family than friends. Crystal hopes that she can help as many children and their families as possible by being part of this wonderful foundation.

Emily Litzenberger

Emily Litzenberger has been a primary care nurse for 13 years, until recently working exclusively in pediatric primary care. Emily has a deep-seated passion for pediatric care coordination. Emily is driven by the belief that every child deserves the best start in life and their families need equitable access to the tools they need to thrive. 

A lifelong resident of the Triangle area, Emily has a genuine love for her community, a sentiment that's reflected in her work and daily interactions. Her personal life is filled with the warmth of family and a caring supportive partner. 

In her downtime, Emily can often be found on the tennis court or enjoying a game of basketball, reveling in the camaraderie and friendly competition.
